Good Paint

I have a fibreglass tail gate but need to find a place who sell paint what actually matches the colour of my car (i.e not Halfords)

 

It is a 1990 205 1.9 H reg and is white (alpine white?)

Any decent paint supplier. Pop into your local bodyshop and ask who they use.

myself i would , unless you have a spray booth to bake it , and the equipment to do it, take it to a professional spray shop , as on such a large panel you will be lucky to get a paint match using aersol, not to mention stopping the paint reacting or even dust etc settling on it..

We personally use DuPont for all our paint supplies as mentioned any of your local suppliers should be able to get it matchable. Fibreglass is quite hard to spray though and can easily bubble up.

yea, dont bake it too hot or it will bubble. no more than 60 oC.
