Para 82 2 Cars Posted June 24, 2008 Sorry if this question appear before. I just bought second cooling fan as I had only one in my GTI. How difficult it will be to connect it and does 1.6 GTI which have place for 2 fans but have only one is prepared to connect another one ?? There will be plug somewhere which will allow me to connect ? ps. pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted June 24, 2008 Another fan doesn't give better cooling!! The fans only run when the fan switch reaches the temp to turn them on so it will just cool it back to the temperature to switch the fans off quicker with two fitted. If your current fan works using a switch is it connected to the fan switch on the radiator in anyway? If not then you might simply be able to fit the cooling fan loom in & run one from the rad fan switch along with your manual controlled one. Graham. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
