How have you checked the fuel pump? The relay is located next to the ECU, to the right of the steering column.

Has to be the relay then as this controls the fuel pump and injectors. Try putting 12v across the pump and seeing if the car runs. If it does, I would get on ebay and get a 2nd hand relay for about £10. Or just try removing any dry solder joints from yours as this is usually what causes the problem. Search google there is a guide for sorting the problem out but you need to be quite accurate with a soldering iron.

I had a similar problem and it's the fusebox itself, check the following;

check that you have power at the fuel pump when cranking.

If not check the fuse, nearest one to the driver in the fusebox, check that you have power to the fuse if its fine.

If you don't have power there check wire 32a, big red wire in a 4 wire plug in the middle of the fusebox.

I had power here but not at the fuse itself, the circuit from the fuse to fuel pump was fine however!

If you still have no power check the relay.

Do have an immobilizer hooked up to the fuel pump? I had the same problem and it turned out to be a dud immobilizer.
