Bonzai 2 Posted June 16, 2008 In preparation for removing my old bumper and fitting a better looking (unbroken) one, what new bits should i buy? http://www.stuartmcguire.co.uk/pug/GB/205N/7/74A10A.HTM many thanks
gerlewislewis 0 Posted June 16, 2008 C, A, 9 you will probably snap Cs, and the 9s You can buy a load of Cs and 4s from a local screw shop for a few pence. Grab a few As aswell. The only bit you should really need from pug is a few 9s (if they snap), but even then you can buy bolts which match from a local screw shop - then grind the heads down a bit to allow clearance for the red insert (but id buy some 9s if I were you - or 11s? your diagram is a bit confusing) Ger
Tom Fenton 1,548 Posted June 16, 2008 From experience the side mounts are also usually rusted into oblivion. I'd buy 4x 9 (bumper bolts) 2x 8 2x 7 half a dozen 11 (moulding clips) A are M8 nuts, and C are M8x20 bolts, both easily available from a bolt shop, and probably for less than Peugeot main dealer prices. Bonzai 2 Posted June 17, 2008 thanks guys, i think, having looked at both my old and "new" bumpers ill order everything, depending on cost and availability, because all four examples are rusted to buggery and dont look like shifting easily
