marsy 0 Posted June 11, 2008 (edited) I seem to have water leaking out from were my water pump is, the only problem is i had this changed with the cam belt this time last year and have only done 10,000 miles with it on. Im guessing there's a problem with it and it needs to changed again, but could anyone tell me if it could be something else causing it? DamirGTI 342 Posted June 11, 2008 Check the water distribution housing at the back of the engine/block (you'll see three coolant pipes are connected to it ..) cos it's near the water pump and if it's leaky it'll look a bit like water pump leak .. older engines have this housing sealed against the block surface with sealant , and later ones (with plastic housing) have an O ring seal .
