Daz_C 8 1 Cars Posted June 8, 2008 Could somebody please tell me which wires go where with the tacho converter please. It was bought secondhand and didn't get a wiring diagram with it and at the time I never gave it a thought I have searched the forum and everywhere else but can't find owt. I know there is a thread about converting the rev counter by soldering a wire across something or other, but to be honest with the luck i'm having at present with this I'm sure something will go wrong All the wiring required to fit the converter is hanging freely and easy to get too, I have the converter so it makes sense to do it this way if I can. I have a small Grey Box with 4 wires coming out of it (Incase there are different types) Black Red Orange Yellow any help would be great thanks ! P.s I'm guessing - Red=Live, Black=Earth, Yellow=Rev Counter and Orange=Ecu ?? Or visa versa on the last 2.

Daz_C 8 1 Cars Posted June 10, 2008 Cheers mate. I'll wire that in after I've sorted what seems to be an unpredictable LC-1 Sensor
pee vee 1 Posted June 10, 2008 hey guys, couple of questions, 1: where do i get a converter?? 2: I am using wasted spark on my set up (mi 16-45s and K3) will the converter work still or will the rev counter read 1/2 what it should? I know of another way of doing it, but this sounds more simple. thanks!

I'm led to believe it will work fine as thats what my setup is. Its the simplest way for me at the moment as I have all the lower dash off.

Mines on wasted spark too , so can't see an issue for you , as the ecu set up allows you to selct what the set up is
