Quigs 1 Posted June 6, 2008 Hi all I'll be fitting a dimma kit to my 205 in the next couple of weeks, was just wondering what would be the best thing to stick it on with, Fibreglass, Sikoflex, i will be riveting it on as well. Also the rear quater's, do the have to be modified?? was thinking i might have to make the arches bigger then modify/make the wheel arch to join the quater. i got no problem in modifying the rear as i'm a panel beater. any help would be most appreciated. Cheers Quigs

craig f90 0 Posted June 9, 2008 As youve said, but use the best materials you can get your hands on. Ive seen a so called $hit hot body shop do a dimma kit which was well, $hit. Sinkage or bad prep work around the joints and filler popping off the rivet heads. Just amazed me how the job took 8 months and looked poor. I think your going to have to fill the rear arches with waterproof spray foam to put some rigidity into the composite panels. And maybe a splash guard. I really doubt your gonna do a shoddy job being a enthusiast and a panel beater though. Are you going to keep us posted? The Ex missus wants me to do one for her.
