I am unable to get a 406/gti6/VTS non ABS master cylinder as all cars in this country came with ABS.....so the next best thing i can see is to use the 405 MI16 one. We had non ABS ones from that car here and i am sure it is 23.8 and has 4 ports. Before i payout on one can anybody confirm that this is so....and also will it fit direct to the 205 server ??

cheers for any help

Super Josh

I think the only problem that you will have with getting a 23.8 from a 405 is that only the T16 had one fitted :o So you've got more chance of hell freezing over.

You could always fit splitters, effectively splitting a two port into a 4 port

that's effectively what happens with the ABS setup, the 2 lines are split at the ABS pump to 4 ports.

1 T-piece on the bulkhead for the front pair of calipers, then a single line to the rear and a T piece above the beam to split to each rear brake, single line to the rear allows a single compensator or Bias valve to be used.

Thats exactly how my Visa runs its 1.6 brake setup as standard, 2 ports in the MS, splitter by the front subframe for front calipers, single pipe to rear, through a compensator then splits after it to the rear drums
