carbers205 1 Posted June 4, 2008 As per title really, you guys are more likely to know on here which rear calipers are the same between 205, 306, 405, 406, possibly xantia and zx? One of our 306s needs one and none of my local scrappys have 306s with rear discs! I have heard that piston diameters do vary so if you know what uses what that would be great. welshpug 1,657 Posted June 4, 2008 (edited) 205 306 zx xsara 106 saxo ax. bear in mind that some of the larger engined 306's and Xsara's used 32mm pistons as oposed to the 30mm the 205.309 has. Clio and R5 also used the same caliper, amongst others. 4905 and 406 use a different caliper, as does the Xantia which has a handbrake on the front like the old BX IIRC. mhyphenl 10 1 Cars Posted June 6, 2008 Gives me something to work with!Cheers guys I just sourced some for a ZX, Bendix recons from GFS. £60 each after deposit, not bad but had to swap in the old handbrake levers as these were slightly different. Not bad though. And the bleed screws work which is good!!
ned 0 Posted June 9, 2008 Is this true about the larger engined 306 rear calipers having a bigger piston?
