Fox 3 Posted June 4, 2008 I've just got the car going after being sat for two years, I swapped the poorly 1600 in favour for a 1900 lump. I'm still running the 1600 MAF box, and the car seems to be running rich, it stinks! Apart from that, and a little bit of pinking it runs spot on. Will the 1.6 MAF cause it to run rich? Richie-Van-GTi 72 2 Cars Posted June 4, 2008 you need to run it on matched equipment, if its a 1.9 ecu then it needs 1.9 injectors, AFM and dizzy. Swap the AFM and have it set up and you should notice a nice performance gain at the same time Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
