Baz 421 Posted June 4, 2008 well you haven't had Mi16 leads then if they don't fit! Try getting some bx16v ones.
GLPoomobile 958 Posted June 4, 2008 As above, a proper set of 405 Mi16 or Citroen BX 16v leads WILL fit, if from a proper manufacturer, otherwise they simply would not be fit for purpose!!! The only problem you may find is if you have a wing mounted coil instead of the coil being mounted to the side of the inlet manifold (as it is on a standard Mi), you need a longer king lead. The king lead supplied in a standard kit will only be long enough to reach the coil when mounted in the standard (manifold) location, and won't reach the coil if it's mounted on the wing. I can't see in your pic if your coil is on the manifold or the wing, hence why I mention this. If this is the problem, I think (but this will need to be confirmed) that an 8v king lead would work, as the connections at the coil and dizzy end are no different between 8v and 16v, it's just the plug ends that are different on the 16v sets I think.
