Standard 1.9 Gti Rear Dampers On A 1.6 Cti?

Hiya guys

 

One of my rear dampers on my CTI is leaking oil and i'll need to replace it before the MOT.

 

Someone on here is selling some dampers on a 1.9 GTI i was wondering if they would be suitable?

yes, they are more than likely an upgrade over what you have as the CTi is slightly softer sprung I think.

best thing i ever did to my cti was upgrding the suspension, even if it is to gti spec!

Best thing you can do to a CTI is fit a GTI anti roll bar in the rear as it is much thicker. Aquire one from a dead beam
