John_B 11 Posted May 25, 2008 I'm looking at ways of improving the brakes on my 1.6. I have the bx sat on my drive so I was comparing and the bx has 14" wheels, the 1.6 alloys fit on the bx and the bx discs are 266mm so bigger than the 245mm 1.6 brakes. Ryan 99 Posted May 25, 2008 The BX brakes run off the hydraulic system. The seals in the calipers aren't compatible to regular brake fluid, so you'd have to rebuild the calipers with new seals. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
