406 Brakes Under 106 Rallye Wheels?

Recommended Posts

GTI6BOY

I know the maximum brake diameter you can have is 266mm under s2 106 rallye wheels.

I have just got some 2l 406 266mm brakes but not sure if they will fit

I will be running 1.9 hubs

cheers

406 uses a different hub, therefore 406 283mm calipers on a 205 need a 266 disk due to shorter carriers on the 406 calipers. guessing here but your 266mm will need a 249mm disk. Diff offset as well!

Save yourself the hassle and get some from a 306/206.

Cheers

406 discs are generally wider, also a lower offset than 1.9 discs.

though the caliper will bolt on and be the right height, you wont get a thick enough disc to fit.
