whizzer71 0 Posted May 21, 2008 As per the title want to know the best map sensor to use with Emerald K3 management on a 406 2.0 T engine with T28 running around 1 Bar,Was thinking about a cossie one but didn't know If that would be suitable. Tom Fenton 1,542 Posted May 21, 2008 Easiest way is to use the one Emerald supply, standard one they do is 2.5kPa absolute, so allows up to 1.5bar boost pressure. They also do a 3kPa absolute one but that is more expensive. I didn't mess with the map sensor settings on the one I've done as I used the Emerald sensor, but the settings can be changed so you should be able to calibrate the Emerald to work with any map sensor with enough range for the boost levels planned.
