Possible Solution To Fuel Starvation

Recommended Posts

Bally

Been getting fuel starvation when I am low on fuel. Not necessarilly from corners etc but from the fact that on boost , I run the bowl in the tank dry.

When the gas is high it overflows into the bowl and keeps it full, when it goes below a certain point it relies on small holes in the bowl to refill it.

I drilled more holes and now its fine.

I'm confuddled. Is it because I've been drinking, or because you have not explained yourself well?

Makes sense to me, so I suggest laying off the shandies :D

Question is, would enlarging the holes make starvation on corners worse, as (in theory) fuel could drain out of the bowl quicker with larger holes, thus starving the pump quicker than it otherwise would?

but at the same time it is allowing it to fill back up faster when exiting corners, so it is a win/lose situation, is there any other method to solve this cause i have in a altezza pump and when i am low and enter left corners i fuel starve bad?
