My partner is currently running an XU 1.9 diesel and the engine is dying after several abuse of previous owners and having 150K miles on the clock. Thinking of an engine change ..... Have the following options, which suits best: 1.9 turbo diesel engine XU 1.9 diesel engine XU 2.1 turbo diesel engine brand new lower end..... off a 605 but lower engine has new liners and pistons and bore is perfect. thanks justin Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
brianthemagical 1 Posted May 24, 2008 The same engine would be easier, i found the TD, when i was driving one, wasn't too slow for a van and it'd pull well over it's train weight.
