AdamP 0 Posted May 18, 2008 The blue book specifies that the minimum height of the white number background is 33cm. The gap between the side trim and the window on the door is only 30cm, but this is where the majority of the 205 race cars I've seen have their numbers. Will I get away with it? Or how else can I do it?
Baz 421 Posted May 18, 2008 Depends how strict your officials are really. Have a word. Alot of 205's i've seen have that part of the trim cut out for the number square, or don't run a trim on the door, but i don't like that personally, could stick it over the trim... but again, doesn't look that great. You'll probably find it isn't that strict depending on what you're doing, I get away with printed numbers on a piece of paper in my back window for sprints (in the std prod. class) because i don't want to cover the car in stickers! And they're probably not quite to regulation size either!
AdamP 0 Posted May 18, 2008 I can still get the full size numbers on there so I doubt it would be that much of a problem. If it is I'll just have to make a temporary extension over the trim!
Jrod 7 Posted May 18, 2008 The RG doesnt have any trim? If you mean that little rubber strip pull it off! weighs loads.
