hodgy 0 Posted May 17, 2008 took my car out the other week for 1st time since i had the electrical fire in april and the throttle has stuck open on one of the carbs ive tried to free it off but cant. i havent taken them off yet to look tho. its missing and sounds like a scooby but dies when i put the throttle down where i thought that once the others oped to the same level that it might run fine but it doesnt. when the throttle stuck open 7200rpm(when i went to change gear) its reved off the clock and fired oil everywhere. any ideas on how to fix or a place near leeds that could sort my carbs would be good
dommorton 0 Posted May 24, 2008 The carbs will need to be removed and individually inspected to see what's causing the spindle to jam. Looking at the exploded view of a weber the spindle has bearings which are replaceable. click
