pug_ham 245 3 Cars Posted May 18, 2008 What year did the loom & ecu come from? Info below is from looking at the wiring diagram for a 97-03 106 GTi. As long as the ecu is unlocked (did all 106 GTi's have a kepad immobiliser? They are shown on the Autodata diagram I have here), you'll only need the usual few wires (fuel pump, coilpack feed (should be from double relay pin 7 so no change needed), rev counter, K light, speed sensor etc) to wire it into your car. You'll need an igniton switched live to pin 14 on the double injection relay, battery positive to pin 11, 2 & 8 but they should be from the shunt box conection already. Fuel pump wire is pin 5 from the double injection relay & possibly goes via the inertia shut off relay to the fuel pump but its common practice to remove the inertia relay when fitting to another car.
