I'm not sure which section this would go unde,r os I guessed ICE, but I'm after recommendations on camcorder's/videocamera that will let me plug in a bullet cam.

Certain places aren't keen on you capturing footage, and having used a stick it on the rear windscreen mount before it gets right in the way of your rear vision, and I like the idea of the camera (heavy bit) being well secured out the way, like under your seat, and a small (light) bullet cam attached to the cage somewhere.

so please can you recommened me a camera unit and bullet cam.

Be nice it had a remote bit so I don't have to go digging abotu to turn on the camera.

thanks in advance for any help :)

James

James consensus seems to be any Canon or Sony Mini DV camera that has DV in socket is suitable for mini camera. In addition try and get one with a LANC socket so you can add a remote on/off button to aid starting and stopping redcording. remote controls are OK but most cameras have an auto switch off if they arent recording so you can find yourself in a situation where you have to unstrap your harness to turn the camera on agaion - A LANC controller is the way to avoid this

Hope this helps
