Throttle Pos Sensor

right here gose,got r1 bike carbs on my 1.9 8v,got the injectors un pluged, plug to the airflow meter unpluged,runs fine my bros got the same set up on his williams clio,but hes got his thtottle pos sensor and inlet manifold temp sensor pluged in,do i need these pluged in on mine? do pugs have a manifold sensor?or will it make no difference on mine,thanks :D

You definitely don't need them connected, your ECU isn't doing anything as it only controls injection, the ignition advance on 205 GTIs is controlled by the distributor.

Yes but the ecu on a Clio Wiliams (Siemans MPI) is a better design & has a proper TPS along with CAS, IAT, VSS, Lambda & knock sensors so its a world of difference to the Jetronic fitted to a 205.

 

This system might even be possible to remap like the MP3.1 & MM8P's are.
