screwloose 6 Posted May 13, 2008 Recently my MI on webbers hasn't been starting every time. On trying to start the car it seems like the starter wants to turn over but cant. Almost like its jammed. After doing the old rocking to and frow while in gear then trying again it sometimes turns over and starts. It just seems something is sticking. Its got to the point where I'm fed up of bringing petrol station forecourts to a standstill while pushing my little french car off them. The thing is i'm not the most mechanically minded person and dont' have tools or space available to me at the moment so would need some help either changing the starter motor or at least trying to fix the problem. Would anyone have a suitable starter motor I could buy? I have done some searches and it seems any XU engined starter will fit. I'm based in Hatfield but would gladly travel for help.
