Rear Brake Line Under Rear Beam.

A mate of mine is in the process of replacing the rear brake pipe between the hub and the flexi on his STDT, but someone’s previously round it off. There’s no way its coming off so he’s decided to sacrifice the flexi around the rear beam and moved back to the next connection which is above the rear beam, access to this one is very difficult and yet again its beating him..

Is there an easier way to get to this connection without having to remove the fuel tank for access??

I’ve suggested trying to get the tab out of the bracket so the flexi can be cut off and pulled through and below the beam but he reckons even that might be difficult where it is.

Any suggestions please??

Drop the beam off - access is vastly improved that way, and it's only an hour or so's work

No need to touch the fuel tank.
