tidypug 5 2 Cars Posted May 11, 2008 Hi all, i've just about finished putting the 6 in my car and have come across a problem with my alarm. When i put the battery on the alarm keeps clicking and making a blipping noise from the siren, it keeps doing it until i turn on the ignition but starts again if i turn the igintion off again. I wouldn't have thought the alarm would be a problem as i haven't needed to do anything to it. Strange. any ideas? P.S my alarm is a toad Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
timmsy19 3 Posted May 14, 2008 does it have the imobiliser with it? if so it sounds like the same issue i have with my alarm. noramlly fine if i disconnect the imobiliser from the battery and just leave the alarm working along with the central locking Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tidypug 5 2 Cars Posted May 14, 2008 its the toad Ai606 so i think its an all in 1 unit. I've removed the fuse from the siren to shut it up. The car starts fine without it though. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
