Thick Brown Wire For Gti6 Engine.

Recommended Posts

Spiky

ok,

almost finished Rossi's car now, but i'm lost as to what the big brown wire is for

as my conversion didn't have one, but mine was a GTI6 engine and loom, where as this one is a VTS engine and loom

It's quite thick, like the Fuel pump but with no numbers on it

reason i ask is the car dont start, i do have a switched live to the pin on the double relay

but the fuel pump isn't priming.

anyone?

Its the permanant live on mine Spiky, the relay won't send the feed to the pump until it has that, or have you already wired the perm in?

From the pics in the other thread the fuel lines look the correct way round.

yeah, checked them earlier., thanks for the confirmation though

it's either lack of fuel (in tank) or fuel pump, as i can here it fill around the fuel rail, but the pump sounds very weird.
