Pug_101 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Very Nice. What did you use?
Goliath 94 Posted May 10, 2008 I would also be interested in what products/methods you used. It does look very nice and shiny, I miss my steel grey! Treat yourself to some nice shiny driving lights to finish it off
Ethos 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Yes, need to get some driving lights! There's some rust on the sills which I need to sort out Ok, rinsed with pressurewasher (meguiars NXT wash); Then washed with the 2 bucket method again with NXT wash. Polished with Autoglym Super Resin polish, stubborn areas / scratches treated with scratch-x. Then gave it two coats with Collonite 915 wax; After that it was the wheels, Autoglym bumper car / glass polish
Ethos 0 Posted May 10, 2008 The only rust really is at either sill, you can see it's been filled before; Not sure what the best way to sort this out is.... I WAS thinking, wire wall brush on a electric drill until down to bare metal, some sort of anti rust primer... fill it, primer again and then spray over. Any tips, it needs to be sorted soon- i'm scared how bad it'll be once I start!!

Pug_101 0 Posted May 10, 2008 Check out the Bilt-Hamber range for Anti-rust products. Everything I have tried of there's so far has been exceptional.
