Flexible Air Inlet Hose, For A Turbo Engine

Recommended Posts

Anton green

Im interested in some flexible hose to run from my air filter, around the strut top, to the rear of the engine where the turbo sits. Do you know of any suitable hosing I can use -possibly accordian type hosing which can be curved without crimping itself? Where can I find such hosing, or indeed something more suitable?

(accordian ridges shown, ignore all the take offs on it.)

I am thinking of this sort of set up here

(no idea who the engine bay belongs to, but it seems a good solution if I secure the flexible duct in position then insulate it against temps)

Aye, I thought that's what you had in mind. Got a feeling that is a Dutch 205T. owner.

I did mine with Samco and Alu bends, was quite a task fitting, plus having 2 take-offs

and a BFO cone filter!

^seems a good solution
