Rich_p 23 Posted May 23, 2008 Can these be replaced just by undoing the 3 top mounting bolts and dropping the shock once the car is jacked up or is it a shock off the car job?
KRISKARRERA 2 1 Cars Posted May 23, 2008 But there isn't anything between the top of the strut and the bodywork.
Rich_p 23 Posted May 23, 2008 (edited) But there isn't anything between the top of the strut and the bodywork. I haven't taken a 205/309 apart yet so wouldn't know! I'm assuming it's shocks off then? Edited May 23, 2008 by Rich_p
KRISKARRERA 2 1 Cars Posted May 23, 2008 I assume you were asking if there is anything between the bodywork and that top bit that is visible now?
GLPoomobile 958 Posted May 23, 2008 That's what I assumed too Kris. The metal top plate that protrudes through the strut turret has nothing between it and the shell. The bush mentioned above goes between the metal top plate and the rest of the top mount assembly.
