GLPoomobile 958 Posted May 8, 2008 I've got a pair of 309 bones I bought off Anthony nearly a year ago, and I was going to get new bushes put in today before I fit them. I thought I'd check the balljoints first. The first one was very difficult to move by hand but eventually freed off and I can now move it about but it is still very stiff. The second one was solid, and only moves if I tap it (hard) with a hammer. Is this right? Is it better for them to be stiff rather than move freely? I know they'll move as they should once the forces applied to the suspension take effect. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

James_R 3 Posted May 8, 2008 I've quite happily been running polyrace bushes for the last year, they're a little noisey on full movement, but if you grease them when you put them together theyre' much better. There's not too much difference in them, other than you don't have to loosen and clamp them at ride height like you do the O.E ones, and if you change ride height about then it can be a pain.
