Just been on the phone to garry and he is driving up home.

He is going to try the fuel rail on the other direction.

But it will be tomorrow morning before he does it!

Glad it was something so simple - and glad it's not my ECU reprogramming skills at fault!

Looking forward to seeing how this goes - this conversion is quick enough in a 1300KG 306, let alone a stripped 205.

Garry - a couple of things to check before you road test it:

1. It's of utmost importance your running decent engine oil - a motorsport 10W50 would be my recommendation. You want something with top-end protection and film stength - hence the 10W50.

2. Make sure the Rotrex is primed properly, and has oil flow through it. Disconnect the return banjo on the traction fluid reservoir and physically check to see you have flow before going anywhere.

3. Make sure cooling system and fans etc Are all working as they should. Heat will be more of a problem with the FMIC in front of the rad.

4. The 'charger has a 100 k/m [65 mile] running in period. It should be ok to give it some beans before this - just make sure it's all warmed up etc.

5. Make sure your on superunleaded fuel and have the cooler grade plugs in.

Happy days :)
