For start thanks guys beacuse i do not no what done with out you 2day prob been on it for another 3 hours lol,,,,, but problem is how do i disconnect the speedo cable from the dif ? thanks J

also im running out of tools wheres best to hold the engine up beacuse the mount will be gone so wwhat can i use and wear would says some wood across the sump but there fairly light metal thanks j

im sure speedo cable has a rubber tampered thing which slides horitzontally holding the speedo cable in , if you remove this and just give the speedo cable a tug it will come out.

The speedo cabel does indeed have a rubber bolt looking thing..Pull that out, then the cable can be pulled out.

Theres also a 10mm bolt which can be undone, and the whole cable housing can come out. But thats not really needed.

 

As for holding the engine up, a block of wood on a jack, under the sump will be fine.
