Part Numbers Needed For Gsf

went out in the 205 gti on saturday and the bleeding fans didnt kick at all ie low speed or high speed:(

 

done a search on here went thru 23 threads!!

 

and can only find the main dealers part number 126427 and thats £30!! and normal thermo (89) i want (82)

 

what i need for gsf is

 

low temp fan switch and low temp thermostat i know then it wont get chance to boil up lol

 

oh and by the way it went to about 7/8s on gauge :(

Did it go any higher than 7/8th's on the gauge? that's around when the fans kick in so if it didn't go any higher it should be fine, it usually takes a fair bit of hard driving in this weather to get any heat into the motor.

 

If you have the o.e part numbers ask GSF to supply them, they can cross reference them to the right part for you.

it was going higher lol nearly to the top of guage and fans kick in usualy around 3/4s will try ring gsf with pug dealers ref number....

 

i also want to change the thermostat for low temp running 82 instead of 89 but gsf when i went it didnt know the differance and said i would need a part number....

just rung gsf couldnt help :)

 

they gave me another garage numbers (rays) i have now ordered fan switch 87d to 79d :)

 

and thermostat 82d all int £14!!!
