davemar 16 Posted April 27, 2008 My BE1 gearbox's threaded hole for the clutch lever pivot bolt has worn out (it's been cross-threaded in the past and retapped), so isn't holding the bolt in sufficiently now. So I'm going to attempt to helicoil it. Does anyone know what size (diameter and thread-pitch) I'll need?
PhilCTI 1 Posted April 28, 2008 If I remember correctly, Miles told me they were 7mm, and the nuts that hold the dizzy on are also 7mm so you can normally use those to help get it out,
