How Many Location Dowels Are There

Due to a blown head gasket, I have taken the cylinder head off my 205 8v and it's now in for a skim and rebuild.

 

However when looking at the block today, I can only see two dowels that were left behind that locate the head to the block - on the front right corner and one on the back left corner (as you stand looking at the engine).

 

I'm fairly sure no dowels came away with the head. And I can't see any that have dropped out anywhere. And the other 'corner' holes look a bit oily, not like there is something that has just come out of them.

 

So, is this right, or should there be more of them?

No thats right only 2 dowels

2 sounds right to me. On the couple I've done there has only been 2.
