Liner O-ring Seals, Where From?

Recommended Posts

Grahamrally

My pug dealer has stopped being able to get hold of the o-rings that seal the liners to the block. Is there anyone good that you know of that can?

If not I might be cheeky enough to chance it with some sealant!!

Id try another dealer.

I think its unlikely they would stop doing something as fundamental as this.

I have purchased some from a citroen dealer in the past so thats another option.

Peugeot european central warehouse is based in denmark - if they dont have it denmark orders from psa france, I bought 8 O rings for my xu9 just 2 weeks ago. In fact there has not been a single part for my nut and bolt rebuild that my dealer cant get from the warehouse in denmark, france or another dealer - all peugeot dealers are linked into it.

I've had the XU7 ones on back order for about 6 weeks. The dealer have had a notification number from Peugeot, they didn't have a note with it to tell me what it said though! I expect it'll say no further production.

I've ordered the engine gasket kit for the XU7 to see what's in that now.

It sounds a bit hit and miss then to be honest! I'll try them again. I do know you can get them from manufacturers of the liners and pistons like AE, as they come with the liners when you buy them new. I don't know whether they do them seperately though.

I will have to do some hunting!!

Slightly dearer I think but if you need them in a hurry QEP also sell them if you can't get them through the dealer network.....

can you not get them from a seal place. It's just an o ring and you have the sizes. Try BSL or Wyko?
