Thanks it was a great day but a little hot in the car :P The car ran great all day the ony work needed was a slight map tweek massive thanks for doing it there and then sandy!

I even had a top instructor in the form of jason cooper come out in sesion three and give me some advice this helped me alot so i cant thank him enough for his time. All being well jason is going to give me more instruction at a test day so i can get the most from the car.

I didnt get any pics but the wife got a few vids so i will upload them latter.

Cheers Dan

Yeah it was me and James in the corsa out having a bit of a testday you should have said hello as i dont realy know many people on the forum.

Wasnt a great day james gearbox started to overheat in the afternoon and i wasnt happy with my brakes from the start but wanted to get so miles under mybelt in the car.

Went out for the last time of the day before heading home few laps in felt a bang looked down at the dash all looked ok engine was running fine so limped back to the pits with a nasty knocking noise tried re starting the engine whilst in the pits but it was having none of it looks like my battery has died or the alternator hasnt been giving it a full charge :D Id had enough after a 2 hour drive home so just put it away and left it last night but iv had a look after work tonight all the shafts and cvs seem fine and the engine starts perfect with a good batt so looks like the gearbox or diff have failed :( i still have all gears and the oil looked perfect so it will have to come out for a strip down .

Think the wife had taken some pics so will upload them later.

Thanks for the positive coments i wasnt having the best of times at llandow as i just couldnt get on with the car well, im planning some more days in the car so hope to get to grips with it after a bit more seat time.

Wile the box is out i thought id get on with some other bits that i didnt have time todo before landow

Iv been thinking of changing my mirrors for a wile as they dont give a clear veiw which is a pain in the arse to see out of and also makes it dangerous when traffic wants to get past so iv now fitted these spa ones with a convex glass so with any luck they will do the trick.

Iv also fitted the studs that i got from the group buy thanks "madaxgt"

Oh my word, that is astonishing. I've heard of people putting coilovers on the rear of 205's but never actually seen it before! And that power to weight is unbelieveable!!

Good work!!

Well after a few busy months of work and other general life getting in the way iv finally managed to bring the 205 home so tomorow ill crack on with putting the gearbox back in so with any luck there wont be any other problems but there was no major problems found in the box bar the lack of preload on the diff so were unsure if the problem has been solved or not only time will tell.

Back in my newly finished garage
