Indicator Lights Stuck On

Recommended Posts

milk_churn

I've had the battery off to charge and when i put it back on turned on the ignition all the indicator lights were just on, not flashing, just illuminated. nothing i do will make them go off whilst the ignition is on, when i actually put left or right indicator on there's a funny ticking noise coming from the fuse/relay box..

As this car has been stood for so long do you reckon it's just the relay's acting up?

Has this happened to anyone else?

Flasher unit is possibly the cause of the clicking - it's mounted in the fuse box, grey in colour next to the big blue thing.

Any problems with the indicators and my first move is always to unplug the hazard switch - weak point in the circuit and causes a host of different problems
