Swap Rear Drums For Discs

hi there,just bought a 205 1.9,with seized rear beam,can i swap the discs etc onto a 1.6 beam and if so is this an easy job.

You'll need to knock/press out the 1.9 stub axle and use it on the 1.6 beam, otherwise it'll all fit fine.

Yes, I have done the above. You just need to get the stub axles out and the flange that holds the caliper.

Then just press the stub axles again on the drum beam and mount everything else.

 

With a hydraulic press it's a 1 hour job.
