tony perks 1 Posted April 21, 2008 What pads do you all recomend for tarmac rallying i run Ferrodo DS3000 for long fast events or DS2500 on slower ones on the front using 1600calipers etc, just fitting 1.9 disc beam so pads are for this. Also using std 19mm torsion bars will a 25mil roll bar be of much benefit some of the photo's ive got show a fair old roll on the old girl. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
pug_ham 244 3 Cars Posted April 22, 2008 Not really sure on the pads but the DS2500's shoud be good enough for the rear imo. They are bendix pads so if your front pads for the 1600 calipers are half worn you could try them before buying some with the piston tab on the caliper or just put a spot of weld on the back of one pad to hold it so they adjust properly. You will notice a benefit with a 25mm arb with standard 19mm tb's. I've fitted a 22mm one to my STDT beam last weekend which has 19mm tb's on & its much better. Graham.
