How To Remove The Cambelt Cover/casing

as title please guys, the engines out of the car, i presumed you would have to take the large pulley off, but this just seemed to turn the pulley? give us a clue :)

This 8v or 16v ? Never stripped my 8v. But think every cam ive seen has had a flat you can get a spanner onto.

So if you havent got a buzz gun, and the belts already off. You should be able to whip off the rocker cover and lock the cam with a spanner.

 

Sure someone can confirm about the flat on an 8v if thats what it is. You need to shock it off, so a short sharp smack rather than constant force. Unless you get on the flat or get it wedged of course :)
