mogsman 2 Posted April 20, 2008 Hi all, Ive stripped out the rear seats so I can use the car like a small van. What I found is a rust patch under the rear seat next to a painted rubber patch. After a prod and a poke I made a hole. Any ideas what the rubber patch is for?

Simes 248 2 Cars Posted April 20, 2008 Is it on the drivers side? Lift it up and you'll find the fuel pump underneath.
mogsman 2 Posted April 20, 2008 Its in the dip where the rear seat covers. Theres two of them, look like big flat blobs of rubber sealant. I don't want to remove it as I'm not sure yet. The one in question is right next to the bracket that the passenger side base locates on.
