As above , which tool is best for removing spot welds , this plain spot weld drill : (available in various sizes : 6 , 8 and 10mm) or this spot weld cutter : (available with just one size of cutter : 9.6mm) Thanks ! DamirGTI 342 Posted April 20, 2008 (edited) Well , i've been using just plain drill bit (7mm.) and a flat shapr chisel ... and made a real mess - Swiss chesse , first i've over done the spots and drill them all the way inside trough both panels , and next i've tried with just a little bit of drilling on the top panel and then hammering with the chisel from the edge , from the gap of both panels on the spots , but then i rip of the lower panel around the spot weld damn ...
