Trouble is owning a french and italian (fiat coupe 20vt LE) car is a drain on the wallet so i'd rather not buy HT leads, dizzy cap/arm etc if I can get away with it without definately diagnosing them first. Dont suppose theres any 205/309 gti owners near leicester that wants to swap some parts?!! On idle its ok, when in neutral, on a standstill I can hear a slight misfire when revving, its mainly noticeable when under load and booting it, it feels like its holding back. DamirGTI 342 Posted April 18, 2008 Coil or the ignition amp. problem maybe as you said it's best to find some known good spare ones and swap them over for the test But id check the usual ignition bits first – plugs , leads , dizzy cap , rotor arm , ignition connectors and wiring .
