Flix 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Hi The master cylinder on my car is faulty, on Eurocarparts there are two to choose from. 19mm with 4 outlets. 20.6mm with 3 outlets. http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecommerce/Search_Results.asp The car is a 1987 1.9 GTI, I think I need the 19mm one but would it be an advantage to fit the larger one.? 3 outlets are fine as I have fitted a bias valve to the rear and lost the compensators. Miles 331 1 Cars Posted April 13, 2008 The one fitted at the Factory was the larger 20.6 one, Make sure it's a Bendix one as the pattern ones are poor quality, they all come with blanking plugs to fill any un-used holes
kanyeost 0 Posted April 13, 2008 Check out GSF too, I bought a Bendix master cylinder from them a couple of weeks ago and it was about 10 quid cheaper than eurocar parts I think.

McDude 33 Posted April 14, 2008 Miles is 100% right about pattern parts. I felt the pain recently of fitting a crapola pattern MC. It failed straight out the box - but not until after I'd fitted it. Get a Bendix one from GSF - only £28 if I recall. Mine was a 20.6mm
