I've been looking for a Phase 1 loom and a friend of mine seems to have gotten hold of one, but I haven't seen it yet. The loom in my old Phase 1 GTI (which didn't come with A/C) seemed to be missing some of the plugs, specifically the ones for the buttons on the dashboard. Are all Phase 1 GTI looms supposed to have all the plugs, or did the looms vary, depending on if the car had the feature? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

IIRC when i took my dash out some of the wiring for the buttons on the dash had plugs and some didn't. Will have a look tonight and post some pictures. Any luck with those pics? Can someone tell me what the part number for the Phase 1 dashboard harness/loom? this would be the loom with the wiring for the buttons on the dashboard. Thanks. Yeah sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I cleaned out the car last night to start the next stage so will be able to get you some pictures tonight. smokey 0 Posted April 23, 2008 As promised Here are some pictures of the phase 1 loom with the dash removed. I've put the plugs a close to where they would be if wired in. I thought all the connections for those buttons would have been the large funny looking connectors. Couldnt understand why I could only find two or three. No. But i might be able to find one here or find the guy before too long...I hope... Do what you have to do.
