Mi16 Spitting Water?

Recommended Posts

ok engines all in correct now not to sure about some of the breathers, water hose's, oil hose's but im checking them tonight.

but once the engine has ran for a while the oil cap goes creamy and you can see slight bits of water in the cap (actually drip out if you shake cap) um it spits water from the oil filler aswell.

i replaced the headgasket the other day as it was doing the same. there were no signs on it going on the old gasket :S there was a possible oh it could have went there but could not really tell..

any ideas what this could be? do i have a hose on the wrong way? is a gasket gone someware again?

all suggestions welcome.

oh yeah forgot to add the car doesnt overheat and there is no water in the sump when checking the dipstick its clean. i did an oil change and filter change after replacing the headgasket also.

probably just loads of condensation in the breather system, if its not losing coolant and the temperature is good, no loss of compression give it a good run, it should clear it (i.e get the oil hot)

yeah the engine was stood for 2 years started in the car it was in then gave to a friend who took it from the car and left it for another year stood. then i got hold of it. he didnt drain the old oil out so i was thinking water could have got into that and crapped up all the pipes... (i ran the car around for a few weeks befor i new the headgasket went.) so i could have clogged the pipes up with the old water/oil mix in the sump i suppose. it just seams alot of water thats all :S
