MrG 3 Posted April 6, 2008 Today (and a few times before) the heater suddenly makes a loud noise as if the bearings are shot and sounds like a screaching of sorts. Now if I then turn it up to max power then the noise stops? then I turn it down and its ok for a while then starts again? I have a phase 1 and I am sure these heaters are basically on all the time regardless of the setting. Are these easy or a pain to replace. I don't use it much so if its stays like this then its no problem, but would like to sort it if I can. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Goliath 94 Posted April 6, 2008 mine makes a noise all the time as if its rubbing on something, could it have come loose inside or something? it sounds like plastic on plastic kind of noise. Will take it out tomorow me thinks and see what i can find Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
