Super Josh 4 Posted April 5, 2008 I'm looking for the standard female crimps that are used all over the wiring loom, in our beloved cars. Like the ones that fit into the housings that plug into the fusebox, rear light clusters etc. Are they a dealer only part? Or do the likes of Vehicle Wiring Products, Polevolt etc. sell them? Cheers Guys, Josh
Miles 331 1 Cars Posted April 5, 2008 Good luck, I have never found them and even had a purchaser at a old company look too without any luck, Some odd connector is a under statement

Cameron 16 Posted April 28, 2008 Balls.. I've been looking for some of these for months and not found any. Has anyone tried a Peugeot dealer? I take it you're on about these ones..
Super Josh 4 Posted April 28, 2008 Yep, those are the ones Haven't managed to find any though Josh
Ryan 99 Posted April 28, 2008 All the electrical terminals used to be listed on servicebox, but they moved them during the last update and I can't find them anymore.
Cameron 16 Posted April 28, 2008 Josh what did you use instead? Im thinking about either soldering the old connectors to the new wire or just losing the connectors and using numbered insulated terminals. Don't really want to do either though, I might pop down to Peugeot this week and see if they can get them.
Cameron 16 Posted April 28, 2008 I think I've got it Looks right anyway! I have to say a big thankyou to GLPoomobile for introducing me to servicebox!
Super Josh 4 Posted April 28, 2008 Yeah, they look like then Cameron, don't they? What price is service box listing for them? Josh
Cameron 16 Posted April 28, 2008 Well they are in the nuts & bolts section rather than the spare parts documentation so I couldn't find a price. But hopefully they still do them! I think I'll pop down to the Peugeot dealer in Hatfield (even though they were useless last time) armed with the part number and see if they can get them. GLPoomobile 958 Posted April 28, 2008 I think I'll pop down to the Peugeot dealer in Hatfield (even though they were useless last time) armed with the part number and see if they can get them. Is that the scrawny, bespectacled, middle aged geezer? He's not the most affable or useful gentleman, is he?
Cameron 16 Posted April 28, 2008 Ah! Thanks Welshpug, I tried to put the code in earlier but that was in the catalogue. Yes that's the one.. it took me about 20 minutes to explain why I wanted 306 parts for a 205, eventually I gave up and walked out.
Cameron 16 Posted April 29, 2008 Went down there today and ordered them, the bloke was slightly more helpful than last time and said they should be here in a few days. I guess that if you have the exact part number then they can actually help you!
Cameron 16 Posted May 2, 2008 I went to go and pick them up today and they are the right ones. The only thing is apparently they can only order 20 at a time (why???) so the rest are on back order and won't be here til the 16th
