Mintex/ferodo

Recommended Posts

The pads that are on my 306 XS are pants. they're crap frmo cold, fade easily and often leave my car smelling broken after a b road blast. any advice on where I can get mintex/ferodo pads online, and which of the 2 are better? Thanks.

I'm on Mintex 1144s and they are sweet. I have a friend who has the Ferodos but doesn't like them.

Miles on this forum sold me the Mintexs.

It varies allot depending on what caliper your using, The HDi and 206 caliper pads are more expensive than the GTi6 and the 1155's are cheaper than the 1144's again on the GTi6

24Seven if your after brakes and are still in sheffield, try brakeline (0114 2667490) motorfactors on sharrowvale road behind eccy road, dead cheap for mintex stuff. All they do is brakes and shockers pretty much, so really good prices.

Cheers matt. I'll pop round there tomorrow.

[edit] Miles, I'm not sure on the diameter of the brakes on the 306 XS, but I take it you supply mintex pads? I'll PM you when I find out what diameter I need.

bah! sod it. I need to sort my wheels bearings out first really anyway. I've got some dot 5.1 at home so I'll bleed the system and leave it at that until I can afford a set of 6disks/calipers.
